His will is in the Adair Co. KY will record book F page 139 which I found on film at the FHL in Salt Lake City. Sorry, I forgot to record the film # or at least I can't find it at this moment. I have written to the courthouse in Adair co. asking if they have the probate papers for his will, but received no answer. Without them I can't even prove for sure who Henry's oldest children were. I've tried looking for Susannah Will's family too to no avail. There are some Wills families in Cumberland Co. in 1820, but there's no way to tie them to her. There are several other descendants of Henry Lacy who have contacted me via e-mail, but so far none of them have anything conclusive either. I'll keep you posted if I do find out anything more on this line.

Surnames: Stone, Patterson, Ramsey, Stotts, Criel, Walker, Whitten Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/RAB.2ACI/2614 Message Board Post: To all whom this concerns... I came accross HUNDREDS of family papers dating as far back as the late 1700's today buried in a Grandmother's closet. Just one of these papers has the following information: The Stone's came from Bedford County, VA to Adair County KY in 1815 Grandfather Patterson's father was Joseph Stone Grandfather Patterson was John W. Patterson, he married Jane Ramsey and they were the parents of Martha Jane Stone. The Patterson's were related to the Stotts, Criels, Walkers and Ramsey's. The Stones were related to the Tate's and Lee's (as in General Lee) of Virginia. John Stone and Miss Stith had a son this son's name is Moses Stone and he married Nancy Whittere Mr. and Mrs. Moses Stone had a Son William Alexander Stone who married Martha Jane Patterson William A. Stone and the Patterson's came from KY to Illinois in 1830 Sorry for the rough translation at this time. But we spent a better half of a day just sorting through just half of one of 3 boxes of VERY OLD papers. And this was by far the smallest box. There will be much more to come in the future. Aaron's mother was Mary "Molly" Wood so perhaps his daughter had Wood as a middle name and I just didn't have a record of it. I don't have a spouse for her, though, but the dates would match, she'd have been marrying age in 1850.
