Surname: Mitchell, Nanny, Shelton, Beasley, Latham My Great Grandfather was Elias M. Mitchell. Elias was born on Nov. 8,1857 and died April 6. 1919 and was married to Alice Jane Latham. My brick wall is his father,Peter C. Mitchell. In the 1860 Muhlenberg census it shows, Peter C. Mitchell, 31 years old, married to Mary E. with children, Nancy E. 5 years old and Elias M. 2 years old. In the 1870 Muhlenberg Kentucky census it shows C.T. (Calvin Thomas I think)Mitchel,55 years old, married to May E.(mary ?) with children Nancy E. 14 years old, Elias M. 12 years old and Missouri E. 6 years old.
