I am researching WAINSCOTT and WINSCOT and associated families. Descendants of Richard Wainscott (b. 1711 in England) moved from NC into KY in the 1780s and 90s. They included pretty much all of Richard's children and grandchildren. His children included: Abraham (b. early 1730s) m. Catherine Elizabeth Kellum? Isaac (b. 1735-1742 m. Rachel ENYARD or Enyart Rachel b. 1746 m. Adam ELROD John b. 1749 m. Catherine ELROD Elizabeth b. 1750 m. Benjamin STEWART (they may have moved to TN) Joseph b. 1753 m. Catherine ___ Maybe also: Solomon b. abt 1755 William Henry b. abt 1757 m. Mary ____ They first lived in Madison County, later moving north and settling in Owen, Henry, Scott and Gallatin counties.
