I know that the births were recorded under the owners name, but the names were like Calvin owner Named Mary E. Bixler, name of mother sometimes says Martha, that is all they put. If you can get the county records on the microfilm, then there maybe that information to help, I o not have the Microfilm for Mason Co. KY I just have three Films, and they do cover more than one county, but I didn't get any of the M' counties. Hope this will help you. I do have a very small Colored in Grayson Co.
