Dear McLendon's, So far I havent connected the Eldridge to the Everidge family, but I agree the spelling is very close. We suspect that Everidge / Everage was originally Etheridge. I have found ealry VA and NC records with an Etheridge spelled differently for the same person. In Perry and Letcher County, KY ealry records there are Eldridge's living near the Everidge family.
