    3. Hi Jim, I just discovered my Aldridge/Eldridge, and someone sent me a history of Aldridge/Arledge with all different spellings for it. Then I sent for two different children's death certs and they both had different spellings, so I am still working on her. One person told me her father's name was James, whose father may have been Levi, b. 1736 in N.J., but can't prove anything .. another person told me her father was Joshua who came from Virginia, so you can see I am not getting anywhere at all. Too many James and so on. I am still trying to run down a third and forth child which again may not be any help at all if I can even find them.
