Am looking for information on the parents and siblings of George Washington White b. 11Sept 1841 (or 1846). He was from Green County. He was in the Union Army during the Civil War and was with General Sherman after the Battle of Atlanta. Following the War he returned to Clinton County where he married Elizabeth "Betty" Perdue b. 16 Dec 1841 (1842). May have had a brother Benjamin Franklin White who was killed during the War at Chickamauga. TIA Shirley
