I have had tons of help and the people were really great that help me get this far, but I have with no luck finding Galen as a child with his parents and siblings. For example, today I recalled the Warren County Courthouse and they did a search again under the names, Gale, Galey and Galen TURNER who married a Elizabeth "Antha / Anthy" HAZEL around 1893. They checked for a marriage but no luck. Was told the Library in Bowling Green had the records. I called them, the guy was really nice and tried to give me some ideas of where to go because he said the Court House has that information that they were the ones who sends it to them. HUMM.. He was born in Warren County Kentucky in Oct 1968 and died in 1923 in ? and Antha was also born in Warren County Kentucky in May 1875 and died on Aug. 14 1947 in Ohio County KY. They are both buried in the Goshen Cemetey in Ohio County. The Casebier Funeral Home did Antha's funeral and I got her papers from there. They did not have her husband, Galen TURNER who died at age 55. Galen was a Coal Miner. They had 4 living children, Callie, Mary E, Nellie, and James M (my grandfather). There in NO record of Antha and Galen TURNER being buried at the Goshen Cemetery. They are actually buried down a gully just to the right of the grave yard for reason unknown. I have called all the funeral homes that would of been around in 1923 and all had no name close to his. The only one that did not exist was CHINN's Funeral Home. I was told they do not know where the papers were. I also called today the Ohio County Court house again to check for the names and death. NONE. I then called the newspaper and was told to call back Tuesday and she was going to see what she could find in the old books of newspapers. So that's where I am at right now. I also recalled an aunt and she said that the grandson lived in Owensboro KY and she looked up the name and phone number. I called but to find out he had passed. But I did get to talk to his wife. But all she could remember was his name was Gale and that he helped raised her husband when a young child. So I have plans to visist her and she is going to give me some pictures and I am going to take some notes. But it is unlikely that she will know much more about Galen. Plus I have Galen and Antha TURNER in the 1900, 1910 and 1920 Census oh Ohio County and also in the 1920 Cromwell KY, I guess they moved during the time the Census was being taken and got recorded in two different places. I have enough information on Antha. It's information on Galen TURNER that I am wanting to find. His parents were also born in KY but do not know their names. It seems like he would be listed in the 1870 Census sometime or the 1880. So there you have it... I appreicate any and all help anyone can give.. Thanks again God Bless Pam
