Hi, I am searching for a Joseph Archibald Purdue or an Archibald B. Purdue. He was born in Fairfax County, Virginia in 1820. I am searching for his parents and siblings. Four sources has him b. Joseph Archibald Purdue and my brother has him born Archibald B. Purdue. He eventually moved to Nicholas County, Kentucky where he m. Sarah Elizabeth Ocherman, they had my GGrandfather John Daniel Purdue in Bath County Kentucky, he m. Sarah Elizabeth Owens. They had all other children in Nicholas County, Kentucky, He died in Kentucky and GGGrandma Sarah moved to Boone County, Indiana with their children. She and some of her children and grandchildren are burried in Pleasant View Cemetery in Dover, Boone county, Indiana. I Would like to know if Archibald B. was in fact his father and not him, and who his Mother was. It is most likely that my brother is wrong.
