I am trying to find my father's social security number. He died in 1965 and is not listed in the Social Security Index. I do have his dog tag from WW ll. The number on that that has the same amount of numbers as a SS#. My question: did the army use SS# on the dog tags in 1941 to 1945? Sandy Martz smartz@atlantic.net
