Everyone, I emailed Rootsweb.Com about this situation and this is what they replied: ------------------------- The list administrator has full control over the subscription list and content of his/her list. I'm sorry, but we don't intervene when someone has broken a list rule. This particular subject matter is indeed unfortunate for those involved, but correspondence should have been made via private email, not to the list. ------------------------- The lists are for information on "dead" people and are not concerned with the living. I do not want to turn this list into a moderated list for a long period of time. This list is for the discussion of Kentucky Surnames and those who lived in, or migrated to Kentucky. I ask one more time. Please do not post ANY OTHER TOPIC without talking to me first. If you have a concern about the list contact me DO NOT POST TO THE ENTIRE LIST your thoughts and concerns on how the list is run, what is allowed or not allowed, or your problems with a posting of another member, even postings in your support of me causes the problem to continue. Please help me keep this list as it is. To have it moderated would mean that I would approve each and every post before they could be seen by you. This would mean that days would pass before you say the postings. I appreciate all of those who have tried to help during this difficult time for us. It is time to heal and move on.
