    2. Mary Faircloth
    3. Liesa: I don`t think we connect on Muell. It was originally spelled Muel and my GGGrandfather Nicholas Muel was born in Belgium circa 1823. As far as I know they migrated to Brown County, Ohio, where he married Mary Catherine Leonard in 1850. Really don`t know a lot about siblings for him, so it is possible if yours were Walloons (French speaking Begium). My Louiso`s (Loiseau) did live in Fayette Co., KY after immigrating from Belgium for about 5 years before they, too, moved to Ohio. (and also back to KY a couple of generations later). Mary child of SHELTON+LOUISO+WILSON+MUELL+HUDDLESTON+YOUNG+JACQUEMAN+VANCE+BYRD+DRAPER+FAIR+BRANSON+HOLDEN+STEERS+LEONARD and others. Proud to be an AMERICAN mutt.

    2. Carol Eve
    3. To Toni Farmer: Thanks for sending me your info on Richard and his daughters. I don't think they are my direct line as they were in Livingston CO, KY by 1807 and would have been impossible to be in the Harlan CO census of 1850 because they had never moved when Richard died in 1829. Thanks Toni for you lookup and for your help. I do appreciate it. 1. [KY-ROLLCALL] From List Mom Regarding The Annual "Influx" of "Newbies"
    2. Kathleen
    3. Dear List Members, It is that time of year again when we suddenly will have an influx of new online genealogy enthusiasts with their holiday gift computers that are usually newer and faster than what many of the rest of us have. For a great many of them, it will be their first time online. Some of them will make mistakes and some may (will) unintentionally do things and write things that may be irritating to us and against what we have set up as our list rules. Please take this into consideration in advance and be helpful to them. If things get out of hand, know that I am behind the scenes taking care of the problems. Just remember, one of these new members might hold the clue you have been searching for. Let us not discourage them before they have a chance to learn how this works. I would like also to take this time to wish each of you and yours a wonderful and safe Holiday Season. Kathleen Burnett List Mom

    1. [KY-ROLLCALL] EAGLIN,EAGLEN,EAGLAN, plus any additional spellings you might find...
    2. 16 December 2000 I am researching the EAGLIN, EAGLEN, EAGLAN Families families...they came to KY prior to 1790 and first settled in Hardin Co, KY...the original brothers were William, Joseph, James, Thomas, and Richard...there might have been one other named John, but I can't confirm it... >From there they spread out to various places...Joseph's Family stayed in Harden Co, the rest went north, some settling in Gallatin Co, KY, some in Owen Co. KY and some went all the way to Ohio... I am working on all the lines trying to determine which kid belongs to who because they all had many boys that they names James, John, Joseph, Richard, Thomas, and William... The immediate line that belongs to me is William and he lived in Warsaw, Gallatin Co, KY in 1830, went to Ripley Co, IN in 1840, has disappeared in 1850, appeared back in Gallatin Co, KY in 1860 and 1870... My Great Grandfather Francis Marion Eaglin is a possible Grandson of William and decided to change his name to Frank Bell, along with his age, in order to fight in the Civil War, and never went back to Eaglin... So this is a brickwall that I have been up against for 35 years and just 6 months ago started to grumble... So please let me know if anyone else is also researching this family...LINDA
