Can anyone tell me what newspapers there would have been in Harlan or Middlesborro about 1945. Looking for an article ? date unknown, we assume between 1944 and 1946-47. Word of mouth says it existed in the Harlan paper about that time, about a woman who abandoned her children.... Could anyone out there help identify and tell me where I might find such an article?
