Please look for SILAS FANNIN mentioned in any old Kentucky newspapers which covered the Big Sandy area of Kentucky and WV 1887 - 1900. Silas was born about 1822 and still alive in Wayne County, WV in 1887. Silas married about 1841 Mary Ferguson. They settled in Butler District, Wayne County, (W) Virginia in or just prior to 1850. He performed marriages in Wayne County 1871 - 1887. Please share any mention, clue, or note relative to the Fannin family.
