Kentucky Minister Used a Wagon Brake with Fatal Results. Article Text: Owensboro, Ky., May 21.--The Rev. W. W. ARMOUR, of Sacramento, Ky., who killed his son by striking him on the head with a wagon brake, was arrested this morning and lodged in jail at Calhoon. He said that he struck the boy because he had left home and would not return, but did not intend to kill him. He expressed sorrow, and said that he was ready to pay the penalty, and would make no defense of any charge that might be brought against him. Mr. ARMOUR is about fifty years of age, and is a Methodist Episcopal preacher. He came to Kentucky from Illinois ten years ago, and has lived in Sacramento four years. He recently tried to join the Cumberland Presbyterian church, but was refused admission because he demanded a license to preach.
