GUM, Sr. Article Text: A. GUM, Sr. died at his home, 601 Boonesboro avenue, at 11 o'clock Wednesday night after an illness of three years. He was 85 years of age. He was a native of Fayette county and was in the mercantile business for many years until retiring from business in 1913. He is survived by eight children: Mrs. J. V. GIBSON, Mrs. J. W. ADAMS, Miss Fannie GUM, Benington; P. H. GUM and W. S. GUM, all of Lexington; P. H. GUM of Madison county, L. P. GUM of Frost Proof, Florida,and A. L. GUM of Detroit, Mich. The funeral services will take place at the residence Saturday morning at 10 o'clock instead of Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock as was announced previously. The Revs. Mark COLLIS and A. W. FORTUNE will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot in Lexington cemetery. Pall bearers will be Ben. H. GUM, P. H. GUM, A. L. GUM, W. S. GUM, L. P. GUM, James V. GIBSON, J. W.
