R. PEEPLES. Article Text: Winchester, Ky., Aug. 2.--Funeral services for Mrs. J. R. PEEPLES were held this afternoon at the First Methodist church by Dr. G. W. BANKS, assisted by the Rev. Dr. E. G. B. MANN. Burial took place in the family lot in the Winchester cemetery. Pallbearers were Dr. J. E. BAUCOM, G. E. TOMLINSON, R. O. FITCH, G. B. WILLIAMS and R. T. SPENCER. Mrs. PEEPLES was a daughter of the late R. W. an Mary SMITH. She is survived by two daughters, Misses Mary and Pauline PEEPLES, and six brothers, Robert, Virgil, Grant, Allen, Charles and Hamilton SMITH, and one sister, Mrs. Mary MCCLURE, Brooksville.
