Negro Woman Found Dead in Her Kitchen. Article Text: When John BROWN, a negro laborer, came home from his work about 7 o'clock last night, he found his house locked from the inside. He gained an entrance through a window, and discovered his wife dead on the kitchen floor. >From all appearances the woman had been dead for several hours. She had not been seen since some time in the afternoon, when she had gone home from her place of work. There was no evidence of violence and she is supposed to have died from an attack of heart trouble, to which she was subject. Lucy BROWN lived on North Limestone street, beyond Seventh and was employed by Mr. W. K. VOWELLS as cook at the "White Elephant." The Coroner will hold an inquest this morning. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ KY-Old-News ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ NewspaperAbstracts.com - Finding our ancestors in the news! TM http://www.NewspaperAbstracts.com
