Mr S. P. SIMPSON, A Former Resident of Lexington. Article Text: Mr. H. S. REED, of Hotel Reed, has received a telegram from Los Angeles, announcing the death in that city of his brother in law, Mr. S. P. SIMPSON. Mr. SIMPSON died of paralysis on Monday. The news will be heard with profound regret by his many friends in Lexington, where for a number of years he was engaged in the saddlery and harness business on Main street. Recently he has been conducting a successful banking business at Eagle Pass, Tex. Mr. SIMPSON's death must have occurred quite suddenly, as a recent letter from his wife spoke of his improved health and the possibility of his visiting Lexington at an early date.
