It was stated that the receiver was asked for an order to protect Mr Nunemacher's business and his creditors. The petition asks a judgement of $45,000 against the printing company. The petition states that in February of 1910,Mr Nunemacher executed and delivered to the Fidelity Trust company eighty bonds by the terms of which he obligated himself to pay $50 on each bond with interest at 5 per cent after five years. Fifty bonds of $100 each were also executed payable after five years with interest at five per cent. J L Smyzer and the Louisville Paper company are made defendant to the action for the reason that they hold a number of Mr Nunemacher's bonds. It is stated in the petition that th einterest on the first issue of bonds has been due and unpaid for more than 30 days. Mr Nunemacher who is president of the board of trade, vice president of the National Association of Manufacturers and prominent in church circles has been missing for several days. What is supposed to be a tangible clue to the whereabouts of Nunemacher is a letter believed to have been written by Mr Nunemacher which was received by Mrs Emma Carlton of New Albany Indiana, a sister today. The letter was written on the back of an envelope. It was dated Aurora Indiana and follows in part: Walking Soft Sulphur. Walked forty one miles, Charleston to North Vernon. Left last night. Am here now. Wrong side river. Will try and get Cincinnati tonight. Head hurts all time. Although Mrs Carlton has been married thirty years the letter was addressed Miss AmmaNunemacher, her maiden name. Relatives here believe that Mr Nunemacher is trying to reach Soft Sulphur Springs Virginia and point to the letter as evidence that he is suffering from severe mental strain. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ IMPORTANT: To stop receiving these notifications, you need to know if you are receiving them through a mailing list or if you subscribed through the Newspaper Abstracts website.
