He lived in the St. Charles apartments. Mr. Meriwether was special accountant of the city tax and attorney's offices during the Head and Buschemeyer administrations. He was a native of Louisville, and at one time was connected with the Falls City Bank, the Louisville Hotel Company and with a Cuban concern. He was a member of Christ Church Cathedral for forty years. His son, Coleman Meriwether, is employed by a Chicago firm. A sister, Mrs. Udolfo Snead, of New York, wife of the owner of the Snead building here, and a niece, Mrs. William Bradley, of Lexington, also survive him.
