Can anyone help me find information about mine explosions or other fatal accidents in the late 1850s or early 1860s in the Louisville area? I am looking for Fredrick Bletner. His name appears as Johann Karl Friedrich Bloetnea on this daughter Wilhelmine Agnes's Christening dated 17 June 1855 at St. Peters Evangelical Church in Louisville. His wife Therese Beier remarried and had a child with her 2nd husband sometime in 1863. The surname spelling currently used by the family is Bletner. I have also seen Blaetner and Blütner. Thank you for the help! Dave Marshall
