I am trying to locate info on Rev. Henry B. Goodwin,my g g g grandfather. He seems to have either died or left Lawrence county Ky between 1847 and 1850 any info appreciated thanks mary Rev Henry B Goodwin was a circuit rider and is mentioned in this article about the Methodist Gallup Circuit Riders. He was listed in the Circuit of Gallup and Borders area, this was in the late 1830's and early 1840's . the Gallup and Borders Circuit included the areas of Busseyville, Dry Ridge or Walnut Gap, Moores Chapel, Richardson, Borders Chapel and Gallup. Henry was apparently a carpenter also. There is a court case, dated Nov. 4, 1845, where he places a claim against the estate of Richard Brown. Henry apparently had made sashes for the windows in Brown's house and installed 82 feet of picture railing. For all this Henry wanted $86.
