There's a complete listing of all known burials at Ft. Knox available in the Hardin Co. archives. The page is at http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ky/hardin/hardin.html -scroll down to the cemeteries section and you'll find links to the files (there are 4 of them). You can check for information from them yourself. From a recent inquiry I made for someone else, if you do find someone that you're looking for listed, more information can be obtained from Richard Helmkamp, the Ft. Knox archealogist. Some cemeteries are open at all times for visitation - the ones in the "middle" of post where public traffic and access is always open. Some are in restricted areas (training areas, etc.) that they try to make access available on Memorial Day weekend, and some are totally restricted due to dangers of their locations (ranges where live ammunition might be present). My understanding is that they've hired a company to photograph all the tombstones, but they haven't received any so I don't know what exactly will be available or when. Richard should have more information.
