We live in the same house. The person I am looking for is my g grandmother Ester M. Smith. She married James Zachary Logsdon and after my grandfather was born she died. She was born in Barren County 1883-84 and died in Hart county 1900-01. I have been unable to locate any info about her other then the 1900 census in Hart county (supervisor district 4, enumeration 56, sheet 61, house 113-113). Her sister Arthula Smith was living next door to Ester and James in 1900 at William Logsdon's house 116-116. She was born 1886-87. My grandfather also said her parents were William and Delia and they came from Carol Hill or Coral Hill. I found a Delia Smith on the 1900 Barren county census (district 4, supervisors district 3, enumeration district 18, sheet number 11, house 204-204) living with a son McHenry born 1889. Next door is Arthula Smith (probably Delia's father) in house 203-203. Next door again is George Smith with wife and children including Arthula age 13. Could the same Arthula be counted twice? In two different neighboring counties? Well anyway I hope you can help in some way. I am grasping for any tidbit of info. Thank you for the offer. [email protected]
