He married CATHERINE FRANCIS GARRARD September 10, 1850, daughter of DANIEL GARRARD and LUCINDA TOULMIN. Children of MICHAEL HORTON and CATHERINE GARRARD are: i. ROBERT GARRARD2 HORTON, b. January 22, 1852, Owsley, KY; d. May 02, 1883. 2. ii. FLORENCE DANIEL HORTON, b. January 27, 1860, Clay, KY. 3. iii. WILLIAM TOULMIN HORTON. Generation No. 2 2. FLORENCE DANIEL2 HORTON (MICHAEL GEORGE1) was born January 27, 1860 in Clay, KY. She married M. JOSEPH TREADWAY. Children of FLORENCE HORTON and M. TREADWAY are: i. WILLIAM HORTON3 TREADWAY, b. February 01, 1891. ii. VELLIE PITTMAN TREADWAY, b. April 12, 1892. iii. LAURA KATHLEEN TREADWAY, b. June 29, 1894. iv. SARA REID TREADWAY, b. January 1897. 3. My Sides/Seitz family from NC married into the Kuykendall family in several occurances and they and the Zimmerman/Carpenters moved from NC to TN to KY to LA with Peter Sides and his family. I don't know if this is the same line but I would be happy to share information and put anyone in touch with other Kuykendalls from this line. In KY, I have my Peter Sides documented in Logan County although his son John was listed as being born "Barren KY." They lived in KY from about 1789 till 1799. His son-in-law Jonathan Kuykendall, emigrated with him. Martha
