Just for the record, I've never heard of an Okolona Cemetery, but I've run across this question once before. According to the book "Wilderness Road Cemeteries of Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia" by Robert Foster Johnson, there is Evergreen Cemetery in Okolona, which is the big cemetery. The book also lists two others gravesites for Okolona. They have no official names that I know about. I list them quoting from the book: "No. 122 - Unknown located in Okolona, in Jefferson County, owned by Charles Kuhn, located on Chesley Ave., which is off High School Lane, which is off Preston Highway about one half mile southeast of Southern High School. Once about 100 graves, now only about 5 left." The five surnames stones left are Martin, Wright, Woods, Hassenflack, and another Martin. "No. 124 - Owner, Jack Durrett, located in South Central Jefferson County, on Preston Street Highway in center of Okolona, one half mile of Southern High School and at side of Arch Heady Funeral Home on spot 100 ft. north of street and behind Esso Gas Station, about 40 graves." The books lists 5 burials belonging to the Beeler and Gilmore families. Just for the record, this book was published in 1981 and the partial transcriptions were done some time before that, so don't take stock in the owners above still being the owners. At least you have a general idea of where these cemeteries are located. Surely one of them was Okolona Cemetery, but I don't know which one is which. Wish I had more details, but I don't.
