Dixie, someone sent me info that Amanda was living with a family named Cain and Emma with a family named Ward, I do not know who these families were I have never heard these mentioned in connection with the family. I still do not know where Kate was, I know she married Sam Horseman but I do not know when or where. Age 1880 Kate Crow Born 1862 18 Amanda Rush Crow Born 1863 17 Emma Crow Born 1866 14 If you have the 1890 Daviess Co. census could you check for Amanda with a family named Helm. I have an old picture of a stern looking lady and on the back it says Malinda Day but the Day is marked out and Helm written in. It further says "this is Amanda' Rush Crow's Aunt that raised her". I feel she was the sister of Amanda Day and her married name was Helm. Of course, I could again be way off track and they are in another county and shes a Helm married to a Day???
