Hello listers, For those interested in Cave Hill Cemetery, I finally received the following notes from them about researching/ fees and so forth: In regards to genealogy research, we charge $25.00/hr. However, if you are looking for more information than date of interment, name or location for someone who passed before 1946, we don't have anything. We would have an obituary for people after 1946, maybe a birth and death date in the last 10 yrs. or so. Sorry, but we don't keep personal information on individuals other than what is relevant to their burial. As far as the veterans go, you may find more information by calling Zachary Taylor Nat'l Cemetery. We just maintain the military part of our cemetery for them. The burial database can be tricky. Everyone here in the cemetery should be in the database except maybe for the last few months. If you are having trouble locating someone, try entering just the last name of the person and scrolling down through the list. I know that the database says to enter as much info as possible, but the least works the best. If you try to enter info that is incorrect, or not listed in the database a certain way, you may find that you cannont locate that person, which may give you the impression that they are not here. I would suggest trying the last name only thing for the relatives you are having a hard time locating. Hope this helps some....... I haven't been able to pin him down as to exact place, but Morgan was also near Chickamauga when that battle was going on and Jesse's son, Alexander, was wounded. Let me check some more and see if I can locate him in October 1865.
