Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/wS.2ADIAE/397.1.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Tonya, I have several books about the Low Dutch and all of that area. I am going to reference somemore of my books and see if I can come up with anything for you. Are you related in any way to the BANTA'S? And are you by any chance of Dutch descent? The dutch are who mainly settled and started that area. If you can give me any other information of some of the ancestors, it may be easier to come up with the information. Did you by chance check the funeral home for information? The funeral home records will tell you everything about the funeral. You can find out what the funeral cost, location, what the person was buried in, i.e.: clothes, coffin, who paid for the funeral, cost of the funeral, etc. Sometimes if you know who made the funeral arrangements and paid for the funeral, you can trace and find out more. Plus, the funeral home records will tell you the plot number they were buried in. I am kind of busy right now working on a camper. But I will see what I can find out! for you. Send me as much information as you can about other names and ancestor's. I have one book (if I can find it; lol) that may really be of some help.

The reason I'm so interested in the Pleasureville (Dutch Tract)Cemetery is I have a great grandfather (Mildred Paul Thompson) buried there and an Aunt (Georgia Jane Walters) and they do not have grave markers, there were markers when they were buried the kind from the funeral homes, but over the years they were just gone away. Also, they have enlarged the cemetery now and where we thought they were buried looks like it does not exist. They have put a road behind their graves (where we think they were buried).. My aunt and I are trying locate them (gr-grf & aunt) but no one seems to have the info. where these two are buried (cemetery records have been through quite a few hands over the years). These are the dates for: Mildred Paul Thompson born: June 18, 1892 died: May 24, 1940 Georgia Jane Walters born: March 11, 1938 died: Aug. 29, 1944 Any help you can give is really appreciated. Thanks, Tonya
