However, I am seeking the parents of my gr-grandfather Michael Conkle. MY search starts with the Meigs Co., OH 1850 Fed Census. Michael and wife, Mary Ann McCaskey are shown with their family. The youngest, John Henry, was shown as 9/12 , and born in PA John Henry (Barney) Conkle is grandfather. Research by James E. Kunkle, as shown in his Kunkel CD, claims that Johannes Lawrence Kunkle is the father of My Michael. I am searching for proof of this fact. Can you shed any light on my search for proof? Les
