Hello kunkel-l,conkle-l, kunkle-l List Members........ If anyone is having a problem with getting their newsletters, now is the time to bug me about it. I have received some feedback already; keep it coming if you can. Also, if you indicate your interest in it, I will be sending out a sample copy of the Kunkel Kunkle Conkle Gunkel "Spindle" Family Newsletter as well as the contents listing of issues so far. I will be sending out the sample issue for free to US and Canadian family members who are interested. If you'd like to help with postage, you can of course do so, but it is not requested. The future (paid subscription) issues cannot be as many pages as the sample I'll be sending, and the reason is one of cost for the photocopies. I didn't want the subscription to be more than $14, and that has to include postage. Some of the quarterly issues were 38 pages, and weighed 5 ounces! As many of you already know, I am not the family historian; I can only edit and print what you send me, more or less. I credit everything that I print with the submitter's name and address, if available. Jim Kunkle, jekunkle@uswest.com, who IS our family historian (actually I think he got stuck with it!!) looks forward not only to the issues, but especially the QUERIES on the family, so that is why I am trying to get lots of them for this next issue. And since many of our members don't have computers, that's why I ask for the home address, usually. Don't send them to the list, if you can help it, unless you don't mind broadcasting it to everyone... Also, as I get a bit more time, I hope to be working on the web site more.
