    3. Hello Everyone Starting today (Monday, 6/10) and extending over several days, RootsWeb is going to be moving the list servers and other machines. No messages sent are expected to be lost, but the lists will be down for a while when it happens; during this time, please don't post "why am I not getting mail"....you will get your mail when the system comes back up, and you don't want half of it to be everyone on the list asking why aren't they getting mail. If you have trouble reaching other RW servers this week, it's probably for the same reason; try again in an hour or two or three..... Shirley List owner

    1. [KUNKLE] The Spindle...
    2. Janet Reinhold
    3. Hello kunkel-l, conkle-l, & kunkle-l If anyone wants his money back that they've sent me for the Spindle, please contact me off list and I will return your money, no questions asked. I have had the following issues printed: Volume I (1995), Volume II (1996), Volume III (1997), Volume IV (1998), Volume V (1999), Volume VI (2000) and Volume VII (2001). All indexes are done, too. To date, I have not put together the second Ancestor Book completely (I thought I had it almost done) and right now, I'd like to return all monies sent to me for that, too, just to straighten things out. If anyone can tell me what James E. Kunkle's email address is, I'd appreciate it. BTW his CD is wonderful and I can't recommend it more. For only $25 it is a really great buy. For a long time, I thought that the only thing I had messed up with the Spindle was the administrative stuff, with the money and who should get what, etc. After all, I was only working on it on weekends and as I have a family, there is not much time for any of it. Now I realize that I just haven't done a good job on it. I don't think I have the abilities or tenacity to keep track of all the things I should with a newsletter that purports to be a genealogy one. In his last email to me, James said that someone had complained to him about not receiving issues; please would that person direct his complaint to me, as James could not locate the name & info. Thanks all for your patience. I'm sorry I cannot be more helpful. -- Best regards, Janet mailto:spindle@futurepkg.com [Johannes Gunkel/Kunkel d 1829 Washington Co PA]

He was born about 22 to years to late to be married to my Aunt Dora Weible. He had three children, and then he was killed in an accident. Unless the date you have could be the date of death. My Aunt Dora remarried, but she and Ira had three children; Iris, Lee, Al, possibly a daughter named Evelyn. She then married a Smeltzer and had more children.
