I mean, we claim the Johann Kunkel who came on the ship Patience as "our" ancestor, but what about all the others? Are they all claimed by some group? I have not seen that addressed, and if you do not know the answer, perhaps I should put it out on the Kunkel mailing list. I thought about this because the Kunkel you mention above is of an age to have been born in Germany.
