    1. KONKLE in Oregon
    2. WILLIAM FALK
    3. Tracy, You got my attention when you mentioned a KONKLE living in Oregon. I am a descendant of the Civil War veteran Josiah KONKLE who came to Oregon about 1878. He settle in Columbia County and may have later moved to the Portland area. He was married to Harriet whose maiden name I do not know. The children I have for them from the 1880 Columbia County Census are Charles Russell KONKLE, my great grandfather born 16 April 1862 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, PA, (2) Thomas KONKLE born about 1870 in PA, and (3) Rosa KONKLE born September 1879 in Oregon. My great grandfather Charles Russell KONKLE married Alta Lenora BROUS 9 May 1885 in Columbia County, OR, he died 21 December 1945 at Baker County, Oregon and is buried in Linn County not far from where I live now. If anyone has a connection to these KONKLEs I would love to hear from you. Wm. R.
