Hi William, I was born and raised in Portland. All the Konkle people in Portland right now are my relatives. My grandmother is in a retirement home and the lady who is her neighbor says her mother, or grandmother married a Konkle. I will find out her name and address and send it to you. I also found a divorce record for an Alta Konkle in Clackamas county in the late 1890's. I will have to search for that, but do have it. Found it in Cyndi's site on Oregon I believe. I do have a Joshua Konkle, but with out digging I can't give you any particulars. I will get to that in the next couple of days. My dad is doing research also on the Konkle's and has been talking about contacting the Oregon Konkle's. His name is GLen Konkle and mom is Betty Jones Konkle. They live in Multnomah county. Fairview to be exact. That is near Gresham. He would love to hear from you. He is doing the above ground people and I am doing the underground side of the family. This is a great find. I think somewhere down the road we are probably related, you know the shirt tail thing. I am just getting into the mid to late 1800's. I am amazed how slow it goes. I took the summer off so that has slowed me down. Keep in touch. Tracy Kasilof, Alaska When I get some more infor on Joshua I will send to you, cause his name is right in there with the Daniel, Michael and John's that I am researching. -----Original Message----- From: WILLIAM FALK <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Wednesday, October 28, 1998 10:27 AM Subject: KONKLE in Oregon >Tracy, > >You got my attention when you mentioned a KONKLE living in Oregon.
