They all are descendants of Peter Kunckler from Germany, were the name also has been written without the c (Kunkler). You can find me under H.2.5.4.2.6.1. The link between Konkelaar and Kunckler did I found in a Register of the "Luthers Evangelische Kerk", here in Leeuwarden , capital city of the "Provincie Friesland". At this point the surname of Johann-Michael (see B.2 ) is written as " Konkelaar", while his fathers name is Peter "Kunckler" (see A). As you see, the "German Connection" start for me with the name Kunckler or Kunkler. This name was (is?) known in the state "Hessen", at a place named "Runkel", near "Limburg am Lahn". Here was a woman living: Juliana Elisabetha Kunckler, born 19-Nov-1753, Runkel,Germany, and died 28-Dec-1835, Runkel, Germany. She was maried (in Runkel) 10-Dec-1773 with Johann Wilhelm Gerhard, born 05-Jun-1750, in Neesbach (Wiesbaden); he died 26-Jun-1810 in Runkel, Germany. It should not surprise me, if Juliana Elisabetha Kunckler was a sister of Peter Kunckler who went to Holland. I will verify all the information and continue to play a detective.
