BERGIN, GREENWOOD, JENKINS, LAW, RIDGE, WITTICH "The Kansas City Star" (Missouri) Monday, November 7, 1892 TO RAISE A WORLD'S FAIR FUND. At the Coates house, Saturday afternoon, a meeting of women interested in World's fair matters was held to determine upon some plan of raising funds to furnish a Kansas City room in the Woman's building. Mrs. E. H. JENKINS presided. A committee to solicit subscriptions was appointed with the following members: Mrs. George LAW Mrs. George E. WITTICH Mrs. I. M. RIDGE Mrs. N. E. BERGIN. It was decided to call upon the school children for aid in raising funds. If Prof. GREENWOOD will consent, the schools will be canvassed and each pupil will be asked to contribute five cents or more to the fund.
