I am going to include a newspaper article for my grandmothers brother who died about April 30, 1915.  What I am looking for is; 'What is or was a timekeeper for the Kansas City Bridge Company"?  What were they keeping the time for?  Does anyone know?  - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -   Taken from the Kansas City Times, Wednesday, May 5, 1915   Fred Lloyd, Bridge Timekeeper, Drowned When Skiff Upset Friday.   The body of Fred Lloyd, timekeepr for the Kansas City Bridge Company and one of the three men drowned in the Kaw River late Friday night when a skiff capsized, was recovered early yesterday morning.  Mr. Lloyd who was 32 years old, lived at 18 North Rosedale Avenue, Rosedale.  He is survived by his mother, one brother, Arthur, and two sisters, Bessie and Bertha.  The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the First Methodist Church, Kansas City and Rosedale avenues, Rosedale.  The burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetry.   Thanks, Carol - Olathe
