Edward MADITZ, 25 years old, was riding a motor cycle east on Barnett Avenue, Kansas side, last night, and in attempting to cross Sixth Street, drove in front of a northbound Kansas City Western street car. Seeing that a collision could not be avoided, he leaped from the speeding motor cycle to the street car fender and escaped with a few minor bruises. He was taken to his home, 2832 Sherman Street.
