After all the talking and writing about the filthy sanitary condition of our city, we are reliably informed of a privy vault on Metropolitan avenue that has just been completed, at a depth of four feet, that is within four feet of a cistern. No wonder we are in such great danger while such condition of affairs exist. It is the duty of the city officials to attend to these matters.
