"The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Monday, May 24, 1915 THE HARRIS FAMILY REUNION. The fifth annual reunion of the HARRIS family was held at Greenwood yesterday. Of the 489 descendants of Rhoda and William HARRIS who settled near the present town of Blue Springs, Mo., in 1830, 106 were present. William and Rhoda HARRIS had fifteen children, of whom two survive, S. B. HARRIS, 85 years old, at whose home the reunion was held, and J. H. HARRIS, 83 years old, owner of a park near Lees Summit.
