Specifically, I am looking for information on the marriage of John CERNICH to Mary (unkwown) abt 1894. I know that in 1900 they lived on Tenny Ave, but I could not find them--or any of the other Croatian surnames in their cluster--recorded in the marriage indexes of Wyandotte County from 1892-1907. I know that in the 1890s or so many Croatians lived across the river before in flooded in 1903 - as someone who is unfamiliar with the area's coutny boundaries, is it possible that their marriage would be recorded in a different county?
