    3. "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Tuesday, January 2, 1912 PLAYED AT HER OWN WEDDING. Miss Margaret FOWLER, whose name as a gifted violinist is well known to Kansas City, was married last night at the home of her father, Edwin FOWLER, 3217 Montgall Avenue, to Stuart Churchill FORBES, secretary of the Monarch Electric Company. An unusual and pretty feature of the wedding was the playing of Beethoven's Minuet by the bride. She was accompanied by her sister, Miss Helen FOWLER, who has been her accompanist in all of her public appearances. The Rev. Alexander LEWIS, pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiated. Mr. and Mrs. FORBES will leave shortly for a two months' honeymoon in Europe. Miss FOWLER first attracted attention as a child violinist. She was a pupil of Francois BOUCHER, who early predicted unusual success for her. She has been a concert violinist almost continuously since that time, although she has found opportunity to extend her studies and develop her method until she is now a player of high rank and growing reputation. ====================================================== (I have no connection with this family but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) johnobrien@kc.rr.com ======================================================
