    3. Since many of us have been on the Mailing List for a long time, some may not remember that there are two ways you can receive posted messages: 1. each message as it is posted 2. all messages in one mailing once each day ("digest") If you are currently getting each message as it's sent but would prefer to get one email with all the messages, let me know and I'll set you up for "digest." The "digest" is ideal for anyone who wants to reduce the number of messages received or for someone who reviews mail once a day and has no need to see messages at the time they are posted. The downside of the "digest" is you will not be able to respond to a message at the time that it is posted. This may be important to people who want to have "dialog" about a posting. If you want to change over to "digest" send me a note and I'll handle it for you. If you're on "digest" now and want to receive messages as they are posted, let me know and I'll take you off "digest." One last thought: if you are on "digest" and respond to an item, please delete the other messages. Do not include them with your response because the file will be too large and may post to the List. If you have any questions you can contact me direct. John JohnOBrien@kc.rr.com

    3. John:    I think I am on both Digest and regular post.  I only need one.  Please take me off Digest.  Thanks.   Jeff Day --- On Thu, 1/22/09, John O'Brien <JohnOBrien@kc.rr.com> wrote: From: John O'Brien <JohnOBrien@kc.rr.com> Subject: [Wyandotte County] digest mail and non-digest mail To: "KansasCity" <KansasCity@rootsweb.com>, "KS-Wyandotte" <KSWyando-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Thursday, January 22, 2009, 8:40 AM Since many of us have been on the Mailing List for a long time, some may not remember that there are two ways you can receive posted messages: 1. each message as it is posted 2. all messages in one mailing once each day ("digest") If you are currently getting each message as it's sent but would prefer to get one email with all the messages, let me know and I'll set you up for "digest."
