Friends: Was Charles Dail related to Una Dail? I have a photo of her someplace. Herb Treff said she had been a teacher at Brauer. For those researching Gale Newton, I have him as a resident of Victory Junction in 1926 according to a subscription book of Evelyn Treff's. Was Dr. C. W. Brown related to Wash Brown? Someone looking for Cahill? I have an Elizabeth Cahill in Bethel, Kansas 1926. -----Original Message----- From: kswyando-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:kswyando-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of ca07@finneycounty.org Sent: Tuesday, January 27, 2009 12:52 PM To: kswyando@rootsweb.com Subject: [Wyandotte County] Dail question My family has been trying to locate any original books that Charles Calhoun (C.C.) Dail had published. We are especially looking for original copies of Sunlight and Shadows, a book of poetry he wrote. He was a lawyer in KCK at the turn of the century. He wrote other books as well that we are hoping to locate. We know that he had enough copies of Sunlight and Shadows to be published for several prominent attorneys at the time to have a copy, but tracking them down has been difficult. If anyone can help with this endeavor we would appreciate it. YESSSS Cahill was the sir-name of three children in the household of Robert Henry Newton on the 1870 census. Later this has changed: Patrick Cahill has disappeared (possibly died) William Robert and Thomas E. are listed with the sir-name of Newton in Robert Henry Newton's household. Was that an error or were these three little boys actually the sons of R.H. Newton's relative and were adopted? Judy jryden@charter.net Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass.... I am not sure of her lineage. I know that she at one time was a teacher at Brauer School District (now a part of Piper school district). She was probably teaching n the 1920's. Somewhere I have a photo of her and on back phot was identified as Una Dail. -----Original Message----- From: kswyando-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:kswyando-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Judy Sent: Thursday, January 29, 2009 2:41 PM To: kswyando@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [Wyandotte County] Dail question On Jan 27, 2009, at 1:02 20 PM, Diane Treff wrote: > Friends: > Was Charles Dail related to Una Dail? I finally had some time last night to look through some of my documentation. I can't find a Una Dail in my records. But with such a unique way of spelling it, I would think they had to be related in some fashion.
