Any idea on how I can find the woman that was married to Michael in Ohio? I can't get anything on Michael Whalen except that he was a widower who ended up in Kansas, living with his brother James. James immigration route was Ireland to Castle Garden to unknown US places until he gets to TN, Bates, MO to Wyandotte, KS. I have a clearer picture on Mary Ann Dempsey. Born in Washington DC to Patrick and Mary Dempsey. Then to Allegheny, Virginia, Jefferson, Indiana then to Hamiliton, TN then to Bates, MO and finally to Wyandotte, KS. I am looking for Dempsey family members who were in Kansas in the early 1900s. Also more info on James Whalen's brothers and sisters.
