James Whalen was a stone mason working for the railroad. The entire family died in the late 1800s expect for 4 sons Patrick, Michael, Edward and William who ended up in St. Vincent's Orphanage in Leavenworth. Mary Ann's broter James T.lived on in Kansas with his wife Mame Connors Dempsey and their children. Does anyone know anything about these families?
