    3. This same Irene Bernice Warren was married in Kansas City, Jackson, MO on June 1, 1922. Even though she uses the name Irene, and gives the age of 18(she would actually be only 15-1/2), I am pretty sure that it's the same girl because her mother, Minnie, signed permission for her to marry. I have found plenty of people in my family who lied about their ages in order to be old enough to marry. She married John W. Bates b. about 1897(he gives the age of 25) from 1311 Liberty, Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri. The only death record in all of Missouri for an Irene Bates betweem 1910 - 1955 is this for Butler County: Irene Bates February _, 1934 Butler 4116 The only Bernice Bates death record in all of Missouri between 1910 - 1955 is this for Randolph county: Bernice Bates January 05, 1927 Randolph 2213-a If you think that I have found the correct Irene Bernice Warren, I will be happy to send you the original census records, if you do not have access to a census. And I will send you the marriage certificate. I will have to send off-list and as attachments. If you think either of the Missouri deaths might be hers, I will be happy to show you where to go to send off for the records. Its a very nominal fee of $1 each to get copies and see if they are your person.
