That's a very interesting story and I truly hope you can get whatever info your mother would like. If I may ask, what exactly are you looking for? You seem to know who the father is. Do you know who the mother was or are you looking for her? Or are you just looking for any info that might lead you to living relatives that you can find? If you are looking for the mother, may I suggest that you try the birth announcements in the Kewanee newspapers for 1937, if you have not already. Many papers posted birth announcements and I have read that sometimes the hospitals "blew "it and posted the birth announcement with both mother and father listed even though there was an adoption that was pending.
